IT Support Engineer
Chassam Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer for a financial services company based in the City of London. This is an exciting position where you will be supporting the Head of IT infrastructure and Senior Support Engineer to manage the company infrastructure. The role will be a mixture of 1st Line, 2nd Line and some project work too.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working in a team as the first point of contact for ICT support and Service delivery
- Recording of Support issues and their resolution
- Help in the implementation of IT Systems, software, hardware and networking
- Liaising with external suppliers
- Install Updates and Patches
- Diagnosing and fixing Network problems
- Maintaining Hardware and Software
Skills Needed:
- Good understanding of Infrastructure and Networks
- Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Windows and Desktop
- Exposure to Windows Server Technology
- Active directory
- Exchange and 365
- Basic Networking
The role will be based in the office 4 days a week with one day working from home. You will get a good exposure to a variety of technology.
