Application Engineer – SQL Server
Chassam Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Application Support Engineer who specialises in SQL for a leading company based in Manchester. This is an exciting position where you will be working on some exciting projects in order to support the organisation.
To be successful for this position you need to have:
- Extensive experience of using SQL Server
- Experience of creating and amending reports
- Any knowledge of programming, scripting and reporting tools
- Ability to work on your own imitative and assess, plan and prioritise workload
On a day to day basis you will:
- Provide 1st, 2nd line support for business applications and SQL reporting
- Write custom SSRS reports and SQL Data Extracts
- Work with external providers to support interfaces, software implementation and maintenance
- Analyse and assess suitability of systems
