We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join a fantastic, highly charitable company based in south Manchester, just 2 tram stops from the city centre. It’s got a heavy backend focus so we’re looking for strong OOP and database experience and someone who is keen to get stuck into complex, data heavy projects!

The full LAMP stack in being used on site as well as Vue.JS, the workflow management system is currently built in CodeIgniter – there may be plans to upgrade this in the future.

You will be responsible for the processing and accessibility of massive amounts of data, making it visible to all parties. From day one you will be involved in projects which involve building solutions to enable them to calculate fees, collect revenue and price check against existing data.

We’re looking for someone highly skilled in backend development, ideally with a little bit of frontend experience so you can make a few tweaks here and there when necessary. With several upcoming projects already confirmed, they are looking for a creative and ambitious thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table, implement new tech and be involved in technical architecture design.
