I am currently looking to recruit a Help Desk Analyst for a leading company based in Greater Manchester. The purpose of the position is to provide a professional, efficient and effective support service for my client’s 3000 customers.

My client is looking for someone with 1-2 years’ experience within a helpdesk/technical support position. You need to have knowledge of supporting users in a Microsoft Active Directory Environment  as well as experience of supporting Microsoft and enterprise email systems. Windows 7 experience is needed as well as being able to work to deadlines and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include logging and taking ownership of incidents and requests through to final resolution and providing 1st line support in relation to hardware, software, applications and voice/data networks. You will be taking day-to-day responsibility for the support of IT systems and perform hand on fixes at the desktop level. You will also be evaluating resolutions and analyse trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
