I am currently looking to recruit for a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst for a leading company based in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting position where you will be providing operational support both over the phone and face to face for the IT Service Desk. You will be ensuring that all incidents and problems are recorded on the Service Desk management tool and are resolved in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include acting as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries. You will take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in line with defined SLAs.

You need to have strong Active Directory knowledge and be able to create user accounts, reset passwords and create groups. You also need to have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and 2 years previous experience in a helpdesk role.
