This is a great opportunity for a capable WordPress developer to work autonomously in a remote role for a digital agency based in Leeds. This agency has multiple offices with a long list of successful clients who you’ll be producing sites for, they offer a really great variety of web apps, digital products and eCommerce sites. They offer the unique chance to work with a lot of freedom, taking responsibility for your own projects and working remotely for 4 days a week (if you choose to).
Your Monday to Friday:
You’ll be responsible for taking on the full life cycle of development. It will cover all aspects of a typical dev role, from building sites from scratch and overseeing them until completion, to maintenance and improving existing functionality. You’ll be tasked with:
- Continuous development of a variety of web-based applications.
- Build of bespoke WordPress themes from scratch (some based on your own designs).
- Building prototype sites based on client requirements.
- Maintenance of existing client sites.
- Taking full control of projects from specification to completion.
- Building client relationships.
**For 1 day a week you’ll be working in the office so for this role you’ll need to be based in Yorkshire or the North West, for the other four days you’ll get the option to work from home.**
