I am urgently looking to recruit a Windows Security Specialist for a leading company based in the Manchester area. This is an exceptionally exciting and challenging job where you will be offering expertise and support across the business to maintain and enhance the security of the network and infrastructure.
Windows Security Position
The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with security challenges and be familiar with standards and best practices such as ISO27001, PCI-DDS, ITIL and similar governance related to Cyber Security. You will need to have lots of experience in building and maintaining secure network infrastructure for large scale data networks. It is important that you have experience of Microsoft system logging, auditing and reporting. You need extensive experience with Microsoft products such as Exchange, SharePoint, AD, Lync etc. You should also have experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning employing third party and open-source tools
The Role:
On a daily basis you will be reviewing the MS Windows estate and virtual infrastructure to ensure that security measures and processes are adequate and fully comply with ISO27001 and best practice guidelines. You will be assessing security risks arising from internal security incidents as well as working with 3rd party and internal staff to develop and enhance penetration testing and vulnerability scanning processes to ensure that all systems are fully secure. Other duties will include working with teams to ensure that services are fully compliant with governance and best practice guidelines across MS Windows and Virtual infrastructure estate.
