We’re Chassam and as we approach our five year anniversary we are super duper busy. We are bursting at the seams with clients and jobs that need filling and we need more manpower.

We’re a little different from the other agencies out there, we aren’t KPI or target driven we just all work together, towards the same goal, which is to do as many deals as possible and bring in as much money as possible. We’ve got a fantastic track record training staff from the ground up, you won’t find any classroom based training here, everything is on the job. You’ll learn a little bit, practice it, then we will move to the next little bit and practice that. Mistakes are fine, what we like is someone who will learn from them. You’ll be trained by one of the two managers here who are both still hands on, still recruiting, very long in the tooth when it comes to recruitment and very happy to share their knowledge with you. It’s in their interest to help you as much as possible! Again we’re different from other agencies as we aren’t competing against our colleagues in the office when it comes to clients or roles… we do however compete for the top biller title, the accompanying trophy and £50 voucher that comes with being in the top spot each month!
We work hard and we work long hours, this really is like having your own business within a business. If you’ve got an entrepreneurial mindset or want a role where the more you put in the more you get out of it – this is it. Monday to Thursday we work from around 8am to 6/6.30pm and on Friday we always sneak off a little earlier – sometimes as early as 3pm if we hit our team incentive!
So what does the role involve:
- Calling and qualifying candidates – searching job boards, social sites and our database to find them
- Writing adverts just like this to promote your role
- Marketing candidates to our clients – telling them why they should hire the person we’ve put in front of them
- A lot of LinkedIn work, connecting to your network and pitching jobs to potential candidates
- Keeping in touch with your clients and really building that relationship
- The full 360 recruitment process: finding the CV, sending the CV, prepping the candidate for interview, debriefing with the client and candidate following the interview, taking an offer and closing the deal!
As you can see, you’ll be on the phone, talking non-stop! This is a phone based role but there is also quite a bit of written work, as such, your spelling and grammar and written ability must be top notch.
You can earn a lot of money in a role like this, our commission structure top trumps the majority of our competitors – we really want you to earn as much as physically possible – this does come with hard work so you need to extremely driven and extremely money motivated! We’ve got a really clear progression structure in place which should see you being promoted to consultant level in around 6 months, this comes with a pay rise and on your one year anniversary you’ll get another!
We really look after our staff and it isn’t remotely an aggressive sales environment – we’re dress down, have the radio on all day and provide unlimited tea, coffee, fruit and a pick ‘n’ mix stand!
We’re looking for recruiters at all levels, graduate and trainee to senior – for the junior roles all you need is a good work ethic and ideally some office based or sales experience!
