The ideal candidate will already be working as a DBA and have experience in Power BI and other development tools. You will be ensuring that systems are proactively monitored, backups are taken, system restores have taken place and capacity is managed. You will be taking the systems forward to utilise the latest techniques. My client is currently in the process of implementing a SQL 2016/2017 clustered environment to provide HA solution to the business.
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Database replication
- Experience in automating routine tasks and activities
- Experience in using and writing powerShell scripts
- Experience in SQL installations/upgrades and migrations
