Senior WordPress Developer
Huddersfield/WFH
Up to £50,000

Fancy joining a WordPress VIP partner who are working on big, gritty, complex, end to end builds for big names, small names, charities and education providers? As you can see from that sentence alone, the work is hugely varied, you could be working on a live event feed one day and a payment gate plug-in the next.

We’re looking for a senior level WordPress Developer to join the team ASAP, someone who is full stack but who has a slight bias towards the backend ideally.

Ongoing projects:

  • Creating donation gateways for a global charity
  • Creating a multisite search index with Elastic Search
  • Live event feeds for a leading online news outlet
  • A multisite network for a huge university campus
  • Development of a payment gateway plugin for a major bank
  • A catalogue integration for a global publishing company
  • A headless React SPA for their own website

If you want to be involved in projects like this and you’re highly experienced in...

  • Delivering commercial websites
  • Advanced PHP and/or WordPress development
  • Web standards and markup - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WCAG etc.
  • Frontend development workflows - Node, Sass, Gulp and Webpack etc.
  • Code versioning tools - Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Server administration - Apache, Nginx, rewrite rules
  • WooCommerce/eCommerce offerings
  • Cross-browser and cross-platform testing and advanced debugging

Please do apply now with your CV and either a GitHub link, work examples or a portfolio.

The agency is based near to Huddersfield, they’ve always worked remotely with the team getting together once a month in the office. As long as you can commit to this, you can be based across the UK.
