We’re currently working with a digital agency based in the centre of Manchester who are looking to add to their development team. As a company they are offering the chance to work across 6 specialist markets, ranging from consumer brands, Fin Tech and Technology just to name a few.

They do full stack builds for their clients and offer a fantastic variety of web apps, digital products and sites which you’ll be getting stuck into taking them from an idea to the full build!

The Role…

You’ll be working in a team of 3 developers and will be diving head first into some pretty fantastic bespoke WordPress builds for high-profile clients. You’ll be responsible for taking on the full life cycle of development, covering all aspects of the development, from building WordPress sites from scratch and overseeing them until completion, to maintenance and improving existing functionality.

As an agency they are always looking to push the boundaries and provide the best finished projects on the market!

This is a reflection on how they develop their staff and upon starting with them you’ll be immediately enrolled onto their career development programme and timetabled in for workshops that will see you picking up new skills, technologies and most importantly the stepping stones to progressing within the agency with realistic prospects of reaching senior and head positions!

Technical Must Haves…

• PHP
• WordPress
• Bespoke WordPress functionality
• JavaScript/jQuery 
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Git

If you have had experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or exposure to Magento then that would be a plus - you can learn these on the job if not!

What Is Needed…

• Knowledge of all things web including how websites work, security, best practice and SEO
• Ability to plan and develop bespoke website builds
• Experience working in an agency environment
