Onsite Support Engineer, £35,000, Urgent, Manchester

Chassam Recruitment are currently looking for an IT Engineer for a leading organisation based in Manchester. This is an exceptionally exciting position where you will be providing technical expertise in facilitating the smooth running of the technology platforms.

My client is looking for someone who has strong background in 2^nd line support. Windows Server, Group Policy and Exchange are a must to have for this role as well as experience of working with SCCM. A good understanding of networking and ITIL is also important for this position.

On a daily basis you will be taking responsibility for the smooth running of desktops, laptops, tablets, smart devices. You will provide remote assistance using prescribed tools such as GoToAssist, SCCM, Lync or Skype for Business. You will be providing support for any IT related issues as well as taking ownership of incidents and professionally manage them through to resolution or timely escalation. Other duties will consist of managing incidents and attending monthly site meetings with senior staff producing monthly site reports.
