WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING EVERY DAY?

Responsibilities will include operating and administering high availability Linux/Unix based platforms, services and associated tools. You will be responsible for the availability, maintainability and scalability of platforms and systems. You will also be liaising with internal engineering and development teams to assist in upgrades, enhancements and maintenance of production environments.

SKILLS NEEDED:

The ideal applicant will have experience in some of the following:

• High Availability Linux/Unix  - e.g. RHEL,Centos, Ubunto etc..
• Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch)
• Scripting (Shell or Python, or PHP or Pearl)
• Protocols (TCP/UDP/IP, SMTP, SNMP)
• Open Source Tools (e.g. Nagios, Cacti, Zenoss)
• Firewall Security

This is a position not to be missed. My client is offering to pay up to £35,000 for the right candidate as well as the opportunity for fantastic career progression.
