I am currently looking to recruit a Linux Systems Administrator for a leading company based in Manchester. This is an exceptionally exciting role where you will be working for a leading brand where you will get excellent exposure to all the latest technologies.

You will be responsible for the configuration, management, maintenance and development of the hosted systems, ensuring availability at all times.

You need to have extensive Linux Systems Administration experience (either RedHAT or CentOS) as well as good knowledge of Puppet and Git. Either E-commerce or AWS experience is important as well as good knowledge of LAMP stack implementations. If you have Jenkins or Terraform this would also be advantageous.

On a day to day basis you will be installing, configuring and managing physical and virtual servers within production, test and development environments. You will be performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all applications. Other duties will include performing regular security monitoring of Firewalls, Servers and Networks to identify any possible vulnerabilities as well as perform patch management on systems.
