I am currently looking for a Junior Linux Systems administrator for a Manchester based company. My client is experiencing rapid growth and therefore looking to expand their Sys Admin Team.  This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects using all the latest technology.

Ideally you will have one to two years Linux Systems Administration experience using either RHEL, Centos or Ubuntu. If you have any database experience that would be advantageous as well as any experience in scripting. It is important that you are a good time manager so you will be able to meet schedules and time constraints.

On a daily basis you will be in charge of the operations and administration of Linux/Unix based platforms and be responsible for the availability, maintainability and scalability of platforms and systems. You will also be liaising with internal engineering and development teams to assist in the upgrades, enhancements and maintenance of production and staging environments.
