Junior Frontend Developer
Up to £27,000

There could not be a better opportunity than this for a junior level developer - an unlimited training budget, funded certifications, flexibility, ownership and support are all things that are on offer here.

We’re keen to speak to graduate or junior level developers with frontend coding experience ASAP!

We’re recruiting for a tech company with a fantastic reputation, a company that fully believes in training and developing its employees, giving them autonomy and the chance to be creative and own projects.

Joining the marketing and design team, we’re looking for someone to:

  • Design UI wireframes and mock-ups with a focus on the customer journey
  • Code fully responsive HTML landing pages
  • Create HTML pop-up banners
  • Improve existing web pages
  • Build interactive mini games in JavaScript and jQuery
  • Use Google Analytics to check page performance

You’ll have access to a wide range of resources including Pluralsight and Udemy and UX/UI courses. You’ll also be involved in regular 'skill sharing’ team sessions and will receive full training on Google Analytics if required.

We’re looking for a developer with around 12 months plus worth of commercial experience who can code in:

  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • jQuery
  • UX/UI understanding

If you’re a grad who did a placement year as part of their degree or someone who’s been in the industry for a little while now this could be a great opportunity for you. Not only will you be able to continuously expand your skill set, you’ll have an input into the marketing campaigns and be given the opportunity to get creative and bring your ideas to life!

You're welcome to work in their office or to work remotely, whichever you prefer. There will be a requirement to be in the office every now and then though so you must be able to commit to this and be close enough to Manchester for it to work.

To apply, please send across your CV and work examples!
