I am currently recruiting for a First Line IT service Desk Engineer for a rapidly growing client of mine in Blackburn. This is an exciting chance to be part of a busy Service Desk and get exposure to new technologies.
You will be responding to both telephone calls and emails where you will be solving problems ranging from simple password resets to more complex issues requiring remote access.
Your role will involve documenting the interaction with customers from the first contact to the resolution of the issue. There could be some project work involved such as installing software or implementing file backups.
Technical Skills needed:
- 1st Line/2nd Line Service Desk experience
- Active Directory
- Remote Access support tools
- Microsoft Software
- Networking Principles
- Use of Service Desk Software
This role does involve a shift pattern and you do need to need to have a drivers licence.
