IT Service Desk Engineer, 1st Line/2nd Line Support, Blackburn, £23,000
Chassam recruitment are currently looking to recruit an IT service Desk engineer for a leading company based in Blackburn. This is an exciting position to work for a company that invests in their staff and has a great working environment.
As a 1st/2nd line Service Desk Analyst you will be responding to both telephone calls and emails, solving problems ranging from password resets to more complex remote issues. You will be documenting interaction with customers from the first contact to resolution. You will also be installing and updating software, implementing file backups and taking ownership of customer requests.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as this will enable you to resolve problems effectively and quickly. Technically, my client is looking for someone with experience with
- 1st /2nd line Support
- Active Directory
- Remote Access support tools
- Service Desk Software for call logging
- Microsoft Software
There is a shift pattern but this will enable you to earn some extra money. You need to be able to drive too.
