The Agency & Role!

This is a brand-new opportunity to work for a digital agency based in Leeds city centre. The team design and develop a wide variety of sites across multiple niche sectors, as well as working with large global brands on some major ongoing projects.

They pride themselves on remaining innovative within the ever-changing tech market, which means that you would need to have an enthusiasm for using all of the latest web technologies and cutting-edge browser features, to create stimulating, interactive and accessible front ends.

They’re rapidly building an outstanding reputation for their consultative and creative approach to projects, with all team members getting stuck in with hands on roles, resulting in a great level of community spirit and fantastic results.

Joining a small front end development team, your day to day will include a range of activities from building the front end of static sites, responsive brochure sites, email templates, eCommerce sites as well as general maintenance. You’ll focus on a couple of projects a week meaning you’ll get to cover all aspects of the frontend role gaining valuable experience in each.

Their client base is fantastic, it includes many of the country’s top universities, retailers and a well-known name within the entertainment industry! They’re currently looking to train up their developers with JS frameworks (Vue/React) as they’re looking to base most of their client work on Vue going forward.

Skills requirements…

  • JavaScript, jQuery, desire to work with JS Frameworks (Vue/React/Angular)
  • HTML5, CSS, SASS
  • CMS experience (WordPress/Drupal/Bespoke CMS)
  • Experience with workflow tools such as Gulp, Grunt, webpack
  • Keen eye for details & design
