News just in… there’s a specialist eCommerce company on the hunt for a new developer to join their team! They are based in a great spot, whether you live in Sheffield, Rotherham or even slightly further afield in Doncaster this is an easy one to get to. They’re just over 5 miles from Sheffield city centre – now doesn’t that sound like an easy morning commute and to top it off there’s free parking!
The company has 5 eCommerce sites under their belt and a huge CMS linked up to them. There are so many exciting projects to get involved in, from creating a new checkout system, to the build of a brand new app with a tonne of functionality. They will also be overhauling one of the sites and rewriting it completely in .Net Core. Working on these projects you will pick up skills in native mobile app development using NativeScript and it will give you a chance to learn .Net Core if you aren’t using it already!
There’s also a lot of integration work to do and a project to allow customers to be a little more selective when making their purchase, this on top of the BAU work means the job is going to be both challenging and varied – no day will be the same.
The tech stack is good, it includes: .Net Core, Angular, Angular2, Cloud techs, Bitbucket/Git, Visual Studio IDE, NativeScript, Bootstrap and they follow Agile and TDD approaches.
It’s a small team and we are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and suggestions to the table. You’ll very much have a say over what’s being developed and how that is done. There are database specialists within the team as well as designers who create some amazing artwork, both of which you’ll be working closely with.
